A long story to say it short…

I would be insincere to tell you that I have always dreamt of writing about this.

Among these three – about none of them.

Look closely at their eyes of calf and you will make a guess: one out of three is a slave and two of them are stamped by kind of slavery obedience.

“…The three starlike heroes want to serve one another”, - is a modern version of “The Man in the Panther’s Skin”, reflected over the mirror.

Heroism of the first one out of the three was happily proclaimed this Monday by Mikheil Saakashvili, when he granted McCain the Hero of Georgia Order.

Yes, Sir!

The President stretched himself in front of the US Congressman and clasped him to his bosom.

Why and what for? Because he has the same nature as I said before. While to see what kind of hero he is, please, refer to the war in August. Could anyone recall John McCain’s deeds of heroism except from mere words uttered by him during the war in August?

What can one recall that there were no such words?!

As it now became evident, there it was a recommendation and conviction about inevitable invasion into Tskhinvali, therefore, invasion and fancy riding in his own presidental campaign with a mustang without a saddle. Hannibal’s combat elephants are removed from the US political armament.

So what a hawk, griffon or black lite is McCain not to behave likewise?!

[He] is a deserving representative of bloodsucker bird of prey.

It was Georgians’, Ossetians’ and Russians’ bloodshed in August… not of Americans.

Of course, he deserves the status of a hero – Georgia’s national hero all that; else, the Americans would not hang up a medal of heroism for six-year-long captivity in Vietnam.

Incidentally, nor for the fact that he opened the doors and flanged arms around presidency-seeker Mikheil Saakashvili to sail and float on political sea.

Have not we built Georgia with revolutionary reforms – we have overturned and changed it. Now we have to take care of reforming the heroism institution: for how long we have to upbring the new generation with the names and examples of old heroes – David, Tamar, Ilia, Tsotne, and selfless living examples of Giorgi Saakadze and Zhiuli Shartava?

New epoch has taken its start and the first-rate hero of a new age has lit up in the Batumi sky this Monday on the background of artistic banners. And he has showed up in the presence of parliamentary majority.

Our opposition heroes were also there whom meanwhile we have nearly forgotten about.

Giorgi Targamadze is a hero since he appeared to be stubborn enough to enter the Parliament when his comrades-in-arms refused the mandate of the deputy; he was in need of a quite extensive dose of heroism. Moreover in the situation when Jaba Jishkariani’s pals would not consider you valuable enough to throw you rotten apples. Well, when the tempted SWAT team raids “Imedi TV” and you, a bit pale but without a single scratch leave the studio and later, in couple of months, become a deputy, it is heroism, no doubt, is it?!

And this is only about Christian-Democrats.

As to the leader of the Republicans Party, David Usupashvili, I don’t know why I named him as a hero; and if it slipped while writing, than that is all about it.

They are more anti-heroes, like overturned lining, who would embrace failure McCain even stronger than Mikheil since they are failure and favorites themselves. You, the sons of your parents, if you like failure candidates so much willing to become presidents, we have so many of them in Georgia – in wholesale and retail!

You still need an American!

And now they are posing in front of the photographs and TV producers; we have a long line of failure: several of them are tall and several – the smallest among the three, while others… well, no matter if they are or not at all.

Now I will go and wash my hands!

Lasha Giorgidze
